Thank you. I was trying to tell the story from a double yet single point of view...an 80 year old man remembering different times and ages. I wanted to try and capture that feel of it was long ago, but just yesterday that a lot of our elders have when telling their stories. I wasn't sure how well I did. (Plus of course, the sentiment that surrounds such memories.)

Ezra...my poor Ezra - I figured he would be the one of them truly most afraid of death. Talk about the greatest gamble. There was no way Chris or JD would let him suffer like that, no matter what the afterlife was like.
